| Teri has been raising and training dogs since childhood. Her
first dog was a Shetland Sheepdog named Corky. He made training
dogs seem as easy as eating cake. Teri took Corky to a 4-H obedience
class and a star was born. There were many other dogs through the
years, and none were as easy to train as Corky. This led Teri to
believe that she needed some training herself. After a couple of
intensive years spent traveling around the country in search of
the best trainers, behaviorists, workshops, and seminars, Teri felt
ready to help other people train their dogs. Teri has been a professional
dog trainer since 1996, and she started Golden Rule Dog Training
in 1997. *
