Shadow's Story

We adopted our Aussie, Shadow Chaser, about 3 years ago through APRH. His original owner, who had 11 aussies on a farm, became ill and couldn't care for them all, so quite a few of these aussies were put up for adoption through ARPH. We were blessed with the opportunity to adopt Shadow.

Shadow is the most wonderful dog in the universe, and we couldn't love him more. We only regret that we missed the first 4+ years of his life. He is such a special dog to us.

Shadow's picture was submitted to the 365 days Dog calendar and he was selected. His photo (above) appears on Nov. 5 as representative of the Aussie Breed. As you can see, he is absolutely beautiful !!

Shadow and I also have started agility training, which he is very excited about. He is the most intelligent, sweetest natured, gentlest, most charming and loveable dog you will ever meet! We love him dearly.
