BRASC's Mission Statement

The primary objective of BRASC is to protect and advance the Australian Shepherd breed. To achieve this goal, we:

1. Strive to promote, educate and assist all owners of the breed to improve their knowledge of the breed and its history;
   
   
2. Encourage ethical breeding practices;
   
   
3. Promote good sportsmanship;
   
   
4. Conduct conformation shows, obedience trials, stockdog trials, and other events in conformity with ASCA rules and regulations;
   
   
5. Encourage all breeders to accept the ASCA breed standard and to strive to preserve the unique qualities of the Australian Shepherd.
