A. BRASC has a Breeder's Directory
available on our web site. Try attending some dog shows and visiting as
many breeders as you can before you choose a puppy.

How do I find out information about breed rescue?
A. BRASC supports Aussie Rescue and
the Aussie Rescue and Placement Helpline, Inc. (ARPH). You will need to
contact the program directly for more information on adopting an Aussie
or placing a dog into the program. Their website has links where you can
contact the different area representatives.

A: We are always glad to hear from you. You can find contact

Do I have to own an Aussie at this time to join the club?
A: No. Membership is open to anyone sincerely interested in the breed.
Q:
Do I have to compete with my dog in dog shows to join the club?
A: No. Many of our members do show their dogs, but you may join even if
your dog is just a family pet. The club can be a great source of information
on health issues and other matters pertaining to the breed - information
you can use even if you do not show your dog.

Is there a work requirement if I join?
A: Yes, we would like for everyone to pitch in and help, after all, the
members are what makes a club. Some examples of ways in which you can
help are working on committees, coordinating events, being an officer,
assisting in setting up for shows and ground clean up. You may also donate
trophies, take entries, steward, etc. Anything that you can do big or
small is always appreciated and is what makes a club a success!
